Dear Ms. Oprah, Your house is absolutely beautiful. I always wanted to write you and tell you my story. 2007-2010 If I may, I am the middle child of three. I have been from pillow to post for alot of my life. I have 2 kids one is 25yrs old and my daughter is 4yrs old. I love my kids and will do anything for them. My mother passed 2yrs ago. I was in a drug treatment program just about to finish and my mother got terminally ill. I was able to spend the last 72hrs. with her it was he best time I ever had with her. I was able to confess everything that I had done to her and excepted her forgiveness. Me and my then 2yr old was residing at her house I was able to stay there for a couple of months until we were asked to leave due to I was not on the lease, I then had no choice but to give my daughter to my younger sister who in turn offered me no refuge but took my daughter. My older sister offered me nothing at all. I lived in the outside gate of the house for a couple of days before someone helped me I went back to using drugs I had no sense of morals at this point I felt abandoned and unloved. I went to a drug infested house but at least I was out of the cold, yet still my family was no where to be found I would check on my daughter when I could she was rarely home and I looked a total mess. My younger sister was left with the insurance money and all I asked was for her to help me find a place and she said yes and didn’t. I was still having to stay in the drug house I was away from my 2yr old and It was killing me, and I had so place to go. I have been clean for 2yrs now I have my daughter with me I have my own place and I chose not to be in to in touch with my sisters. All I ask from you is some help for furniture for a 2bedroom place in the projects out here in San Francisco, CA Oprah I need everything, pot, pans, silverware, dishes, livingroom, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, clothes. Hi Oprah, I am glad to be able to contact you. I am a student at Westwood College Online, Denver Colorado. I am working on a BS in Business Adminstation-Marjoring in Accounting and Finance Management.
I was not able to go college when I was younger. Now I am 56 years old and in my Junior year. I had a stroke in April 2008 and that set me back in school. I was to graduate this year, but now I will graduate in January 2012. Better late than never.
I am writing a paper for my Leadership and Managerial Decision Making class. I am writing about charismatic leadership and have chosen you as my subject.
I don’t want anything from you, but I would just like to thank you for being who you are and for being my inspiration to succeed. It is because of you that I am in school at this late date. I marvelled at the accomplishments that you have made and it shows me what I could have done. I am glad that you did.
